FYI, I just today received the rib part of this kit, and they are as nice, or better, that the ribs I got with my RV-7A.  I expect the same of the spars.  I may not be helping Budd and Mark, but I suggest that anyone considering this option to order ASAP, ‘cause it’s quite a bargain.

When contemplating which route to go- QB or scratch keep in mind that Avipro will sell you many sub assemblies that you are not comfortable doing your self or just want to speed up the process. I myself go a jumpstart and purchased all the wing ribs and spar webs already preformed. So that work albeit not difficult to do but I figured that saved me a year or so of work. I figure the wings will take me a year or two to complete. Like you I have a couple of young kids and funds have to be allocated accordingly. But with the scratch built route you buy only the materials you need as you go along. After a couple of years I will re-evaluate the fuselage QB or scratch. With Avipro the options are endless. Give them a call. They are a great group of folks and very helpful.

Bearhawk parts

Mark , I recieved the bearhawk rib shipment, they are not mark free like the pieces bent-up in Mexico were but are as good as I expected . I see you have put this offer in beartracks, at a price of less than $13.00 per part delivered you should be busy with orders. I am very happy with the parts and the price, Thank You ,
