Overhead View

This overhead view shows the two wing skeleton assembly tabletop jigs in the foreground. Beyond them are the two vertical wing skinning jigs where the nose ribs are placed and attached, and then the wing skins are drilled and riveted on. In the background to the left is the big fuselage jig, and to its right the fuselage finish out crew is at work.

It may be of interest to note that none of the buildings or houses in the area are either heated or cooled because of the area's location in the temperate zone and at an altitude of six thousand feet. The temperature variation is only 15-20 degrees year round and generally stays within a ten degree range.
